    Was lucky in that I checked this thread again just before heading to sleep last night and got my smyths order in. Got an email from them saying pre-orders were live too, but after I had already made the order.

    I do think it was poor practice from them to push it live without warning so late at night. I had figured it would be 8am or 9am this morning.

    Went for the Disc version of it, having convinced myself previously of the discless version. When I saw the RRP for the launch games, it put me off going full digital when disc based games can usually be got cheaper, or drop in price a bit quicker than they would on PSN. As well as giving me the option of going second hand games in the future too.

    It shouldn't, I got a gaming monitor that Amazon wouldn't ship to Ireland sent to Parcel Motel instead that required a signature.

    Arrived safe and sound.

    Thanks for that link. I'd two other devices on the Amazon's homepage and neither returned the PS5.

    Bit the bullet and got one on Amazon too.

    The sister is looking for one for the Nephew for Xmas so all going well, I'll have one from Smyths for myself and one from Amazon for the nephew for Xmas.

    Parcel Motel will accept it and sign for it don't worry its not too big.

    I had 40kg equipment delivered with them before.

    They will send it by van if too big for 7 euro

    They've got 1 or 2 larger bins in their lockers.

    Failing that, they will deliver to your registered address for an extra fee, something like 7 quid.
