    Launch games:

    Astro’s Playroom (Japan Studio) – pre-installed on PS5
Demon’s Souls (Bluepoint Games / Japan Studio) – US$69.99/¥7,900/€79.99 (RRP)
Destruction All Stars (Lucid Games / XDEV) – US$69.99/¥7,900/€79.99 (RRP)
    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Insomniac Games) – US$49.99/¥5,900/€59.99 (RRP)
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales Ultimate Edition (Insomniac Games) – US$69.99/¥7,900/€79.99 (RRP)
Sackboy A Big Adventure (Sumo Digital / XDEV) – US$59.99/¥6,900/€69.99 (RRP)

So Miles Morales is 59.99. and all other games are 10 higher that the dollar amount as well?

The Pulse headset is €99. That’s definitely lower than I expected, but now I’m wary of the standard of it.

cheaper than the gold headset which was a great headset in my mind (until it broke 3 years later)

Kinda disappointed with that. I hope it's not being held back by the PS4.

Even though I have a PS4 and won't get a PS5 for a year or more I wish they'd not kneecap Horizon 2 like that so it runs on a PS4 too.

    That'll be the digital prices

Retailers will have their own as per usual

Horizon 2 coming out on PS4 is very surprising to me, hopefully it doesn't hold back the PS5 version too much. Makes me think though that it'll be coming out earlier in the year than I first expected. GOW2 being announced for 2021 also would probably add to that idea, assuming it's set for late 2021.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,709 ✭✭✭shrewdness

Fcuk that, €80 for a game! Was going to be going for the disk console anyway, but even more incentive now!

Gamestop will still be around but some stores may not be. They announced last week that an extra 450 stores globally will close on top of the 300 they've already shut.

Looks like Disc and Digital sold out on Gamestop.

Now they have it relisted again to enter a queue so looks like they hit their numbers.

I only really buy games on sale anyway. Between that, PS plus and ps now, there's always something worth playing without buying stuff when released. I'll make an exception for something like Cyberpunk

Dimensions and weight of the console from a japanese blog post

    390mm×92mm×260mm
    4.5kg
    3.9kg

    https://blog.ja.playstation.com/2020/09/17/20200917-ps5/

Separate to above, but I wonder will we get Spider-Man Remastered for free if we already have it on PS4? Cause that's gonna be pretty ****in ****ty if we don't.

Those game prices at least show how they’re able to afford to shave 100 quid off the digital edition price :pac:

How easy is that to do and can it be done on an existing account

Smyths have NBA 2k21 for ps5 for 75 euro, I'd say the rest will be the same. Could even get these for 65 - 70 from some places I'd say. Well definitely be buying and trading to keep up the first wave of games.

Gamestop now have queue editions of the consoles for second allocations.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,056 ✭✭✭sticker

Is horizon dawn 2 not launch title?

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,092 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I know we got a few of them already, but I'm curious will those Plus games be available to PS4 owners as well?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,466 ✭✭✭marcbrophy

There's no way that Gamestop have an allocation number for those consoles before pre-orders go live in major retailers tomorrow!

They are guessing, at best :D
