Hey all. I was wondering if you could source me a replacement remote control for a Denon X2200W? My current one got something spilled on it. I tried to open it to clear the inside but it appears to be glued shut. 😩 the model of the remote is RC-1192. Thanks!

    Hi Xithus,

oh dear - really sorry to hear that!

There are lots of 'clone' remotes available for the X2200 available online for under €20 and generally they work 99% and are a good bet ( you would not guess how common 'sticky/spillage' remotes are!).

We can order a direct replacement in from Denon tho' - I'll check pricing and availability with Denon for you and revert asap.

Thanks again Xithus and we will revert asap,

    Hi again Xithus,

ok that remote is available from stock and the cost to us excluding P & P is just under £50 excluding VAT so realistically it would cost approx £70ish to you - I think it would be worth trying one of the 'clone' remotes available at under £20 from Amazon or Ebay in the first instance TBH..

    Keep us posted,

Thanks for checking John. I’ll try a bit harder to open the one I have and fix it so. 😊
