    Hi guys,

Opened my Degiro account. I am keen to start investing in S&P 500 and other shares/stocks.

I am based in Asia, with an Irish bank account and I plan to invest an initial lump sum (15,000-20,000euro), and continue to invest money once or twice a year after that that.

Will I be liable to pay heavy taxes if in the future I take money out of this account? Is it seen as capital gains tax?

I am a bit clueless with all this.

    kindest Regards
    Ari.
