Felt roof replacement

Hi all, Just bought a house and from the survey we got carried out pre purchase we were advised to replace the felt roof over the porch. It is 6ft x 6ft felt roof and more than likely the wood underneath will have to be replaced also as it may be rotten. Just wondering roughly what would it cost to get this done, the…

Hi all,

Just bought a house and from the survey we got carried out pre purchase we were advised to replace the felt roof over the porch.

It is 6ft x 6ft felt roof and more than likely the wood underneath will have to be replaced also as it may be rotten.

Just wondering roughly what would it cost to get this done, the surveyor suggested no more thank €1,000 but from talking to friends they suggested a lot more?
