Two bungalows on the corner of the Swords Road and Millview Road in Malahide, Dun na Ri and Arundel, are currently in the process of being demolished to make way for these houses:

What do you think? Personally I like the modern exterior style. How much are they likely to be going for?

They look nice. As its Malahide expect prices of probably 700k minimum, likely much higher, 800-900k.

No chance of any of these being close to 700k.

209 sq metres, I can see these being 1 million or more.

Whitegables down the road started at 900k for the 4 bed detected 200sq m. Nightmare of an estate to get in/out. Dunard beside it too.

That road is bonkers most of the time, especially the school traffic.

Aye not a road I'd want to be dependent on for access to my house, traffic is brutal fairly often.

First three are built. 995k starting price.

Spicy enough considering you are facing out on to an extremely busy road! No front garden to speak of and can’t imagine much of a back garden. And still a fair walk to the village. Castle close by is a bonus though.

Walked by this development yesterday. Just one of the three houses are occupied. There's also another house that looks like it's nearly finished. And foundations have been laid for a few others. Wonder when all will be completed?

How busy is the road here in pre-covid times?

Is the dominant traffic in the direction of Swords in the morning and direction of Malahide in the evening?

    How about weekend traffic?

Thoughts on the area itself, are schools good around here?

Malahide is a lovely area and as mentioned the castle is just down the road from these houses.

Downside would be traffic, its fairly slow moving towards Malahide at the lights down at the junction onto the Dublin road more so in the evening.

Schools are good in the area, possibly quicker to use Scoil an Duinnínigh in Kinsealy or the Educate together in Holywell especially if you commute via M1 for work.
