    Hi Guys,

    Got TV thank you, and very impressed with your service, but I am having a few probs that you may be able to advise on.. I am in Dublin.

    1) Freevew EPG is NOT loading...  more than next hour or two and that takes for ever to load. Saorview is slightly better but only slightly.

    2) Apart from Favourites workaround thats is limited to 20 channells. is it possible to have the Frreview and the Saorview channels on the same list as it is VERY tedious swapping from Antenna to Satellite every time you need to change

    3) Both the Freeview and SAorview play perfectly  and Recording on Freeview are fine but recording on all SAorview stations have interfereance as if loss of signal>  is that normal. ?

    4) It seems that you can only record the channell that you are watching... so a little pointless, is that correct ?

    5) None of the apps apart from RTE player seem to work  or are  all pay for use,  can you side load your own apps,?

    6) the IPTV app works perfect on my samsung, using the sam APP on the LG with the same free playlists, it plays fro 30 secs and then locks, is the TV blocking the IPTV.?

    7) None of the Alexa / Voice etc apps work ( aprt from smart remote ) .. is that correct.

    8) on the EPG, can you look for a program to record  say I want to find :Location Location" obviously I cannot look at 100 Channels over 4-5 days....   but I cant seem to find the search function

    Hi Eddie,

    Apologies for the delay getting back to you.

    I'm sorry to hear you're having issue with your TV. There are a few of the questions I can answer but for some I would recommend contacting LG directly as they may be able to find a fix a bit quicker for you. They can be contacted on 01 686 9454

    To answer some of the questions though:

    2/ Unfortunately you need to switch between the tuners. There should be an option on the guide called "Filter and Sort" which is a quicker way to switch between the tuners.

    4/ The LG only has a single tuner which is why you can't record and watch another channel. You would need a TV with dual tuners however the LG OLEDs don't have this function.

    5/ Apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime are subscription based so you would need to pay for a subscription to use these apps. Other apps like the BBC iplayer are IP specific and not available in Ireland. TV smart hubs are closed systems so you can only load apps that are available in your area from the LG app store.

    6/ I'm not familiar with the IPTV app so you would need to speak to LG about this I'm afraid.

    7/ I'm not actually 100% sure if Alexa is available in Ireland at the moment. It was apparently launched in Ireland back in 2018 however I know there were issues with the Alexa voice control in the Sonos Ones so there may still be an update due. I can;t get through to LG today to double check as it's Good Friday.

    8/ I have had a look at the manuals and our own display EPG however I can't see a search function for programmes.


    I hope this is helpful but for the signal and freezing issues I would speak to LG directly as they would be able to tell and hopefully have a fix for it. I would just double check you are running the latest firmware though as this could help solve some of the issues.
