Signal Quality Issue on Mux 2

    I have a roof top aerial connected to a Tiviar box and then to an amplifier feeding 3 TVs, all working fine until recently.

    Cairn Hill is my nearest transmitter, Mux 1 is working perfectly, UHF Channel 47 getting near 100% for signal strenght and quality.

    However Mux 2 UHF Channel 44 is only getting 78% strength and 33% signal quality.

    For the likes of RTE1 picture is sometimes poor.

    Any Suggestions/solutions?

    Nope, checked line of sight to today just in case.

    Try bypassing amplifier & have 1 single feed to 1 tv then see what signal quality you get. If it's good quality again amplifier is the problem, Sometimes they get faulty after a period of time, found this a few times.

    Thanks, was going to replace coax from aerial to sat box(short run), but will try that first.

    Also double check all connections are good & connection at aerial sometimes water can get under cover nd starts to rust up.

    Can you see the Cairn Hill mast? If not, it might be worth a look at the coverage checker, as the nearest mast mightn't be the best choice, although there are also places where the signal from 2 or more masts is equally good.
