Hi there is some issue with my wall shaving light.
    Originally it was non LED.
I put led and then half of it stopped working and later on the whole thing stopped working.
Got a new led yesterday. Half of it worked and then whole thing not working.
    Not sure what to do!
    Any ideas?
See pic of light and the new LED.
    Thanks for suggestions

Happend 2 times. Replace fixture. Maybe transformator is faulty.

Any point going back to non led light? Woodies don’t have non led

Regular bulb or LED, doesnt make difference, in this case. You will not save energy, you will not feel any comfort... regular is cheaper and has longer live.

Have you replaced a florescent or incandescent lamp with the wrong lamp type maybe?

What is in the slot that resembles a battery compartment in your first photo?
    Remove power before opening.

    There is connector, not battery.

I think this is what I have done.
How do I know what is the correct one to put in?

Maybe not, it says S15 cap on the lamp in your image.

    Have you the old lamp?

    Note about S15

"The S15 cap is found on both ends of a double ended strip light and has a 15mm diameter. Mainly found in picture and shaving lights, these lamps are now available in a LED retrofit as the incandescent versions start to disappear"

This appears to be what you've done, so it looks correct (without seeing your fitting)

Make sure the cover is on correctly as the little legs on it must go into the holes the right way or the light won't work!

So the problem is with the tube.
I swapped the tube with the shaver light from other wash room and that works fine.
See the pic of this light that works.
How do I replace this now? Some size issue ? Can I not have Led In this size?

Can you read the code form the old tube?

    Google it and add LED

It looks like a regular shaver lamp to me .

This is simple standard fixture. Your bulb is correct. This is not fluorescent...

    Thank you all,
I found it online via Lenehan- very impressive packing and price!
