Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We are looking to get a skylight or velux window installed in the roof of the extended kitchen to try and get more natural light into the kitchen as its NW facing

We had someone out before and they said the pitch of the roof is too low and it would cause issues with leaks but velux do windows for flat roofs and there is another neighbour who has one similar on a different roof

Was he just fobbing me off cos the job was too small or is there any substance to his information?

    Pics attached of roof

You can install a velux in flat roof and as long as its fitted properly there wont be any issue with leaks.

    Try a different builder.
