Ref did look rather keen to keep 11 vs 11. The peno incident was clear cut red but a further tackle or two also..

And the high boot to Mane’s head.

Ref was poor today. Was terrified to get out the cards no matter what happened. 13 fouls that were given and only 2 yellows. Plenty of others he didn't give.

    Nice ninja edit there.

Getting a lot of those decisions this year along with opposition players doing dumb stuff to hand them goals.

It was a shocking dive. Obvious at the time. Between that handball on the line and that dive, it was a bad night for the officials. Would hope that the PL will punish him retrospectively for that one.

Yep, he had 2 goes at him. Definite free kick.

For those that still think Arnold should have been sent off:

That's part of the reason why I've had them nailed on for the title. Have had the look and luck of champions for ages now.

Jamie Vardy is gonna ruin the party;(

Wolfs will be tricky espically if there no Salah and Firmino and after this game and the following Barca game.

Last day of the season, three points needed to guarantee the title, not a hope they'll get anything. They'll probably have 7th in the bag by then also.

The referee made no signal that he was playing advantage.

barcelona tie is over lads , this is all the pool have to play for , you are right wolves will be very tough and anfield will no doubt be at its most nervous levels of quiet for most of the game

only thing going liverpool's favor in this tie is wolves are very por away from home with just 2 wins and 2 draws away since christmas

Other than the goal that he gave. That's the signal. Hardly enough time to make any signals with his hands beforehand.
Of course, he might not have seen it at all, but in any case got it right regardless.

He didn't see the handball. That's why he didn't signal.

It WAS a very poor night from the officials standpoint. I doubt there will be ‘sanctions’ and probably there shouldn’t be. If over a period of time the same team of guys were as prone to big fûckups then perhaps start dropping them but in saying that, that level of incompetence should not be tolerated at any level of the sport. Not good enough at James Park, not good enough at Turf Moor or wherever.

Not a hope , very strong words.Wolfs decent side playing s depleted and probably tired pool side. A draw wouldnt be off the cards.Wolfs a decent side.

Was talking about Fabinho and his dive there. Niasse got done for a dive at Palace because Everton scored as a result of it. Would think that this is pretty similar.

Genuine lol. He let play go on and gave the goal, safe to say that counts as playing advantage.

A win but feels like less with Salah getting injured. Without him and maybe Firmino next week will be tough. Need Matip to start both games tho.
What Messi would do to Lovren I wouldn't feel comfortable being broadcast on anything beyond the dark web.

    Goal. Goal. Goal.

Where's the penalty if he didn't apply advantage?

    He didn't see it.

It was two seconds max ref let the play go on to see what happened and Newcastle scored. His only mistake was not to book TAA

How long did it take to signal advantage towards the end of the game where milner got booked. Less than 2 seconds I'd guess.

Take a look at Barcelona's line up for their game today. No Messi, Suarez, Coutinho, Ter Stegen, Pique .... They'll be fresh for the on Tuesday. Will be very interesting to see Klopps XI if Man City slip up on Monday. Wonder if he'll write off the game and rest people for the Wolves game.

Ref was poor for both sides, one point he waved a Newcastle player to get up and the crowd roared and he then gave them a free kick. Richie kicking players all game and got away with not giving away a free kick came back to bite him any ways

It’s unlikely City will drop points, at home to Leicester on Monday and they really should be ok away to Brighton on the final day.

In a way even having been gifted the victory there tonight, fair fûcks to Liverpool for getting to the last day of the season and in with a shout.

Leicester is a very tricky game for them. Vardy is bang in form and they'll cut through City ala Spurs. The one big problem is that they'll need to get a decent amount of possession to do that.

Well considering Pool fans thought Burnley would be tricky etc the odds weren't in their favour then. It's a feeling, based mostly on Vardy and Rodgers effect.

Also, the whole thing of Rafa will roll over can be deemed laughable. Excellent performance by Newcastle.

Travers seemed to play well today for Bournemouth today.
We might have to cap him before the English try poach him out of spite.
