Not even close. Raheem at Burnley last season. Missed an open goal from a yard out.

Top 4 is done, was a mad ending to the Arsenal game.

    Brighton made the better chances.
Aubameyang & Lacazette are the only real talent you want at the club. Ramsay is a big loss as Mkhitaryan and Ozil who are embarrassing to watch.
They are saying goodbye to Cech & Welbeck now. I bet Emery wishes he could send a few others with them packing.

Chelsea got top four, who'd have thunk it.

Especially after keepergate during the league cup final when Sarri nearly walked out of wembley!!! United have gotten 8 points in their last 8 games to help make that happen....

    Not a hope.

An 8 goal swing, if it happens Emery needs a statue and Poch should quit the game.

Best 3 teams this year and Chelsea in the top 4 is probably right.

We were arguably, slightly better than Arsenal and Utd were awful until Oles magic bounce but the last 6 results between 3rd-6th was embarrassing for every one of them.

As I said, the race for top 4 was almost too polite, everyone dropping points nobody taking advantage.

Arsenal will still fancy there chances in the EL final. So they've another shot of CL yet.

I dont know. Ramsey is a big loss, rely on turkeys for creativity & they have a total donkey in Mustafi in the team. Good opportunity to have but they are disappointing form.

Your right worst thing they could do is go with Rio but its the type of fan appeasing move they will probably make. Rio cant come out anytime soon and say Ole shouldnt have got the job. As he lost the run of himself after the fluke that was PSG saying sign Ole up.

Arsenal to beat Burnley by 5.

Well, it kicks off at 3, so...

Would have been a good year to pip Chelsea and force them out of the European Cup given their transfer ban and Abrohimavich’s issues. Some Utd fans didn’t grasp the importance of that imo. They may well look back on this run of form with regret in years to come - all it would have taken was three wins in succession.

I said some, not all. If all fans had understood the importance of this season there would have been no divided loyalties against City; and Utd fans would have welcomed Chelsea’s defeat to Liverpool. But hey ho, it’s happened now and a difficult 12 months lies ahead for your club.

What no one seems to talk about if by some very very very slim chance City don't win the league and it is very slim chance that could well break Pep and hasten his exit from City for a need to mentally take a break to recover as he puts so much into coaching.

Congrats to Chelsea and Spurs. Might lose a couple players but less work needed at those clubs.

Why would anyone offer £100m for Pogba?

Pogba's an excellent player when in a good team. He has proven that at Juventus and with France when surrounded by quality and players who demand he do his work. He's not capable, or maybe not willing, to take the responsibility of being a leader on the pitch and dragging other players up with him. He'd get a game for most teams in the world. He plays like he has no respect for the players around him at Utd.

100M isn't a bad price for him for a team looking to buy. Probably an even better price for Utd right now.

i dont think this will happen even if they do get piped , guardiola is citys best chance of winning a champions league , he wont be sacked as he is probably the best coach around and if he attempted to leave he would be offered a huge salary to stay , the better players wont leave either as they will probably not see the wages they are getting now ever again

Having divided loyalties in such an important game was always a weird one.

What a let down from United and Arsenal and sums up their seasons. Was hoping both would win today to set up the last day. Very little to play for throughout the league .

No doubt the best 4 teams in the league over the course if the season are finishing top 4.

    Pep hasn't won a champions league in 8 years. He hasn't even made a semi-final in 4.

Why would you think that? He’s never broken a contract, has consistently said this season he’s open to extending it a further 12 months again on top of the 24months he has left, has the best facility’s in the league, has the players HE wanted to bring in.

That club is set up to give him everything he wants, if he can’t win a Champions League in Manchester the next 2/3 years (because he will be there that long regardless of where they finish in the league) chances are he won’t be winning one in his next job.

Arsenal and United aren’t within an ass’ roar of the top 2 but with Chelsea is the mentality and consistency that’s just the problem. They’re more than capable of keeping pace at the top if they want it bad enough. The manager would be my worry there.

Weren’t City, Chelsea and Liverpool all within a couple of points of each other up until just before Xmas?

Spurs kept the pace far longer. Then their legs, squad issues and injuries caught up with them.
They are miles off the top 2 in terms of quality. Their best players can't even have 2 good seasons on the bounce.

There was 7 points between the 3 sides on December 10th. 4 game weeks away from the half way stage of the season.

They lost to Wolves, Leicester and drew with Southampton over the Xmas period then & fallen away altogether since January.

I wouldn’t agree with that at all. Chelsea are just as bad as Arsenal and Man Utd. Don’t think they are any more talented than them two squads. Man City are miles ahead of them.

Chelsea are better than the other two. No question. That ban could really hurt though.

In the earlier part of the season when they were playing well they beat City comfortably & were less than 2mins away from a victory against Liverpool too.

The wheels came off, no question there, to say they’re just the same as Arsenal and United is wrong in my opinion. That squad is littered with Premier League & Champions league winners.

They without doubt have the quality there to mount a title challenge, not saying they’d win it or hit 90+ points but that squad under that manager have seriously under achieved this season.

2 champions league winners the same as Liverpool, one more than Man U and Arsenal (who were former Chelsea players) and thats Luiz and Cahill bit of a stretch to assume they are of great wealth tbf.

I think he would be absolutely bonkers not to. He is 29 next year, is in a squad that will (most likely) have no new registered players next season.

Who won the CL that's in the Liverpool squad?

    Shaq/Sturridge?
