At least City finished with 1 English player on the pitch.

If you do an alternative league table without city

    Liverpool are premier league winners

And United still don't make the top 4.

The world of football owes city a monumental debt of gratitude. The gates of Hell remain slammed shut with the red scouse firmly trapped inside. Mind you it's taking some effort to achieve it. COME ON CITY!!!!!

Is that the same table that the former Man U manager was so proud of last season and called his great achievement of his life over everything ever won?

What a great season, to witness two quality sides battle it out playing a superb style of football was a joy to witness. Too all the sad individuals who are attempting to deflect from the ineptness of their clubs performance, grow up😂😂😂. City and Liverpool take a bow.

Unreal the most impressive title win I've seen. Congrats City. The results don't lie, incredible since the new year.
Pep and Klopp on another level.

I hope the Premier League listen to all the Liverpool fans and get them a trophy for finishing second. It would make them so happy.

Ole managed to mastermind Cardiff win eventually.

I think it said on the radio that this is the first PL season where 2 clubs got 90+ points. Is that true?

I don't people realise how good of a manager Guardiola is.

He probably would get more credit if he joined an english club with more history than Man City.
Seen how much he improved Xavi & Iniesta for example 10 years ago.

Yes City have a great squad but anybody else in charge & they are at least 10 points worse off.
They will be very hard to stop next year again. Although maybe his demands may take a toll on the players. I hope so.

Lads leave it with the Liverpool quips. It's boring.

Nobody bottling it. A fight to the end. Unbelievable run for end of season.

Quick glance through the thread and many Pool fans congratulating City.

City deserved it, no doubt. 14 wins on the bounce and many of those they played after Liverpool had played and won. Some going.

Incredible going. Getting knocked out of CL probably helped but got to say it's some run.

Not lost dropped points since 29th January I think

'wow, man city's steak looks great, doesn't it' the man Utd fan says to the Liverpool fan beside him, gently prodding him in the ribs with his elbow as he says it.

'how is your burger' the man Utd fan asks the Liverpool fan, struggling to contain his own mirth.

Getting no response, the United fan returns to his jar of marmite, eating another rancid spoonful, smiling to himself at how funny he is.

Meanwhile the Fulham fan in the same room puts away his year out of date cream cracker, taken with no condiment or butter of any sort.

There's a difference between bottling and just not being good enough. This season Liverpool just weren't good enough to get over the line. Albeit worthy winners.

What a season! Big congrats to City with 14 wins in a row to seal the title and well done us for forcing them to need every one of them.

Absolutely phenomenal season that will be remembered for a long long time

Until he leaves City will dominate and that’s assuming they don’t find a suitable replacement. Liverpool might maintain a challenge (maybe even win one?) but City can get 90+ points a season and that’s the target for anyone with title intentions.

Good luck to Sky trying to flog that ****e.

Reeling off 14 wins in a row is ridiculous from City to finish the season and a 100 point season followed up with 98 point season is outstanding. Best team in the league wins it.

Must be the lowest top scorer in a league season too I'd say? Three players share it on 22 each, good advert for African football.

    Lowest since 2010-2011

Berbatov (United) & Tevez (City) getting 20 that year

Heard on radio that city won 14 games in a row, that’s monstrous. Liverpool with 97 points and finishing second is just ridiculous. I can’t pretend that I’m disappointed for them but that’s just a remarkable points tally and to not win. Not sure if that will ever be matched. Not a bad consolation with the champions league final to look forward to!

Fantastic pro, has had a number of massive goals over the years, obviously Monday being one of the biggest.

Injuries have hampered him and he's not the player he once was but definitely the type of player you'd love at your club
