Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

1-0 City. That's part one done but can't see City keeping a clean sheet.

    One of these days...

Jesus should have scored that... great clearance though

Burnley can't put 2 passes together so it's going to take an almighty mistake by City for them to get back into this. Very unlikely tho

Just tuned into this. Strange call bringing Aguero off for Stones, given that it's 0-1. One mistake from City or bit of magic by Burnley and City are done.

They can risk it & that odd Otamendi change when Burnley are this toothless

Really hope City win the league so Pep can then afford to buy a new jacket.

Big result for City. That had banana peel written all over it. Still don't think they'll see it out as they almost forgot how to play at the end. Definite nerves there, waiting to be exploited.

Burnley hadn't one shot on target so they weren't too nervy.
Very un-Guardiola changes to bring on 2 extra centre half's when there was no real need for it. If they beat Leicester which is very conceivable, it's done as Brighton aren't going to be even a contest.

29mm, that’s how far the ball was over the line. City are scraping some of these wins. You know what I haven't heard anyone mention yet? Leicester are City's next opponents, and who's their manager again? :p I'd say Brendan will be well up for the game. Liverpool have a tough game up in Newcastle on Saturday night, the atmosphere will be proper rowdy. And who's Newcastle's manager? :p 2 ex-Liverpool managers could have a big say in deciding who wins the Premiership.

United a shambles with that line up change again today. Ole ain't got a clue

This makes me laugh people saying Liverpool fans would be insufferable if they won the league when they'd be well right to celebrate.

The only unsuferable stuff is the two months of people cryarsing over the possibility of Liverpool winning the league.

Who would fear playing against Higuain. Is there no other option than giroud for Chelsea. I hope he proves me wrong though

He's so fat and lazy, very difficult playing in the premier league for the first time at 31

    Man U 1 up Mata.

Man U now have as many goals as Shane Long in April.

Chelsea really are a one player club, and that player is leaving.

They are fùcked when Hazard goes, they’ve nothing else in the final third.

Hilarious stuff from De Gea. His value degrading dramatically from game to game.

Utd will improve when thier one player leaves.

Is De Gea trying to force his way out of the club by being this awful?

De Gea is now as bad as Karius at his worst. He's costing them a goal a game now.

    David De Karius

Those fewest clean sheet stats

    David De Karius

That's too harsh on Karius. He never made this many mistakes.

De Gea's gone full on Claudio Bravo mode this past few weeks.

It's not a bad tactic seeing as a broken fax machine let him down last time.

De Gea really shows how far a good player can fall so quickly. He really is a liability and yet they keep playing him to give us something to comment on/laugh about. He needs to move to another club for his own sake.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

You’d have to say that De Gea in his current form is down to the level of Pickford, Leno, Alison, Kepa.

He really needs the summer soon, don’t think his head is at United anymore.

    Lol. Nice try

Desperate post Wayne. De Gea needs dropping, he could cost a top four berth. His stand in seems good enough to be playing

He's down around the level of Worsel Gummich the last few months.

Funny thing is you're right. Karius was bad but he never had a sustained run of howlers like this.

short memories some people have , de gea has carried that mediocre backline for years , if he is not allowed a few mistakes or a bad run of form its laughable

given the patience united fans have had in terms of players like lukaku and pogba surely dr gea deserves the same treatment

At this rate he's going to cost them top 4.

Id snap your ha d off for a draw too, Chelsea have been sh*t, which is exactly what we do when we play away to the top 6.

They've fewer clean sheets than Huddersfield or Fulham after 36 games so he's rubbing shoulders with them rather than auld Worzel

Romero should have been brought in weeks ago to take the heat off

Ole must be tearing his hair out. He had united set up well and they were the better team that half but De Gea has let him down again. Tough choices ahead in that respect.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

The pathos dripping from this is delicious.

How many stinkers is that now from De Gea this season alone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,508 ✭✭✭✭noodler

    Absolutely correct.

For balance I'd say Karius could never have a game like the one Vs spurs this year where DDG wins you the game but this many howlers I honestly don't think so.

Chelsea may as well have 10 men Higuain is a disgrace the chap cant move , In away games he is useless

He’s not allowed you are correct. His level of performance is not good enough for a player of his ability, at this level with so much at stake. These HOWLERS .... Simply not good enough whatever the circumstances
