You'd have to feel sorry for Ole having to put up with this muck. Huge clear out needed.

Chelsea will have the wind in their sails after that gift of a goal. My nerves are shot enough already but the second half is going to be a nightmare. DDG cant be assured to deal with standard stuff now. I may have to take up smoking.

Poor management, De Gea should have been taken out of the firing line weeks ago.

His bad world cup seems to have ruined him

He was destroyed in the press in spain after the world cup he needs a break I agree with Neville he just needs to get refreshed

can't see DDG being one he would want to clear out.

Just need DDG to get back to the form he has shown for 99% of his time here.

Maybe OGS shouldn't have rubbished Gary Bailey's idea of dropping him until he finds his mojo again.
On Thursday, former United goalkeeper Gary Bailey called on Solskjaer to drop De Gea in order to “let him rediscover his mojo”, but the United manager was unconvinced.

“No. Not at all,” he said when the idea of dropping De Gea was raised.

“Because I trust David and he’s for me been the best player United have had last six or seven years.

“He has been absolutely outstanding and going through tough patches is part of a footballer’s career. David will be fine, no worries.”

I’m trying to think about how many goals he’s been completely responsible for and how many he just should have done better on and it’s about 6 or 7 in the last 10 games. Mad stuff.

Game still has a peno or two in it Chelsea players minds on Thursday will hopefully get careless

Its mad because none of his mistakes are decision making which normal happems to keeper's in a rut
It seems to be all just complete lack of concentration all the shot he gets to quite easly and then f*cks up

Such a good performance until that brain fart. That must be a massive blow to the players to play so well and go in level at half time.

Now there's a hyperbolic take I'll have a good laugh at. Finished. He's finished. LOL.

Probably should have left DDG out for a bit going on form but he's just normally too good. Plus dropping him as you negotiate a new contract for him might cause more hassle...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Fully 35 yards out, straight down the middle. That is an absurd mistake.

    28 years old and he's finished :pac::pac:

Could you imagine the uproar against Ole if he had of dropped DDG weeks ago

He’s likely to pull off a last minute stop to win it for us.

His nerves are shot he's finished.

Should take him off at half time and pay off the rest on his contract so.

It would also give the message he's not untouchable. Which wouldn't be a bad thing.

On the plus side should reduce his contract demands haha. :(

Bar the ddg mistake, united have played well. Lukaku finally seems to realise he has the power to bounce around a few defenders.

Mother of Julia Rudigers shot was from closer to the halfway line than Utd 18 yard box,De Geas concentration in games has regressed terribly.

Alonso the fecker took it well then.

You'd think Chelsea will test De Gea a few times this half with some long rang efforts. Barkley for Kovacic could be useful at some stage.

When you lose your nerve as a goalkeeper you're in trouble. Finished was probably too strong but I'd imagine there's a fair chance his best days are behind him.

Was the united fan shouting at ddg on his way off?

Based on chances we could easily be 2 up but that mistake is very costly, very dissapointing half now (result wise) hopefully we get the win anyways

He did, Herrera could have followed his run too.

DDG has saved/won us a bundle of points over the years and he is a United legend in my book. Still though, this is a highly frustrating spell to watch unfold.

It was baffling enough watching the whole team actually play some decent football and get important wins for 2 months, to then completely regress to muck in the following two months. But watching DDG, a bonafide world class talent, go through this is a mindfúck.

    He's 28
    And he's a goalkeeper
You can't be serious either lol

Looked that way, just hope it wasn't abuse.

Massive 45mins ahead for Utd and DDG.

Didn't realise he had brought in his own coach. I don't get that at all. Maybe he needs to be binned and the club chooses the coach.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,713 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

At least Rashford got it on target, normally it's not the case

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,773 ✭✭✭✭Weepsie

Hazard is such a good player, and nigh on impossible to get the ball off. He doesn't dive so much as flop to the ground though. If only he'd never chosen Chelsea though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

3 fouls now for Jorginho. 2 in dangerous positions. No yellow.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

Matic skipping past players like a young man today. Great to see.

Next goal is massive. I dont see us getting two without reply if they score and at best nervy hang on if we score.

Need to stay on the front foot here. Next goal is massive for top 4 for both teams

Matic our best player for me today mabe his minutes just need to be managed as he always looks great after he come back from a break

  • Rashford pissing me off

    Move ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

We'll have to go all out for the win at some point.

Utd need someone off the bench to change the game, we're lacking in the final third in this 2nd half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,713 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

    Lovely Chelsea losing a defender

Should have lost one due to a red aswell

Do we want to see Sanchez? Martial? Mata's influence is dwindling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,005 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

    Fûck the Chelsea team crumbling

No one really putting their hand up ability wise on that bench to change a game......
Sanchez coming on .....I rest my case.....go on prove me wrong Alexis.

  • Luiz gone now too

Ffs if these players can't get 3 points
