Hi, I wonder if you can recommend a TV for me, at present I have a Samsung UE48h6400 I got from you 3 years ago, quite happy with it but would like to go for a bigger TV 65" or 75"

Some of the feature I would like are, Smart TV, HDMI with minimum 3 or 4 ports, USB, 4k, Wall mount if possible, good sound quality (or maybe include a sound bar) delivery to Dublin

    Budget around the €1000

Curve TV's are they any good? any good or bad points about them?

Also to let you know when I look at the website, All TV's if I try to narrow results by Screen Size it doesn't work, I tried with IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Do you plan to have any Openbox sales soon? Maybe May bank holiday :D

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi nava,

Thanks for your post and apologies for the delay getting back to you.

Around that budget I would stick with a 65" as a budget 75" would not have as good a panel as a 65" around the same price.

I would start off with the LG 65SK8100 at 1114 euro:

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-203298-lg-65sk8100pla-65-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-play.aspx

If you're looking for a bargain I have a clearance Samsung QE65Q6FN at 949 euro. It's open box but boxed up in it's original packaging with all accessories. The QLED is a stunning TV however both of these models use Edge light dimming:

However if you can go a little above budget the TV I would highly recommend is the LG 65SK9500 at 1399 euro. It has a Full Array Local Dimming panel which gives better contrast, black levels and more uniform brightness than the other TVs. It's LGs flagship LED model before you go to the OLEDs which can't be touched in terms of picture quality:

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi Nava.

The 65Q6FN can indeed be wall mounted.

It uses Samsung's own no gap wall mount:
    Samsung WMN-M15EA priced at £129
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-203995-samsung-wmn-m15ea-no-gap-qled-49-65-inch-wall-mount.aspx

I could offer it at £120 along with the TV.

    Hi Kenny

Thanks, I was going to go ahead with that but looks like the wall bracket goes flat against the wall, I will need 1 that also swivel, or I will need see the options the TV is on a corner but I also have a corner sofa that could be hard to watch.

Any of the other TV you mentioned that can go on a wall bracket that tilt and swivel?

    Thanks

    Hey Navan.

For some reason Samsung don't seem to make a swivel bracket for their QLED televisions.

The others mentioned can be mounted on a Swivel bracket.

The Sanus BLF213 which retails at £149
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202745-sanus-blf213-b1-cantilever-40-84-inch-cantilever-tv-bracket.aspx

I could offer at £100 with any of the televisions.

Hi Kenny, we decided we will go with the Samsung but we will use a cabinet to place into it. I will PM you now my number and address to organize shipping.

How good is the sound on it? Can you also check what you can do about a soundbar to be use with the TV and a Freesat box (vu+ Solo2).

    Thanks

    Cheers Navan.

We will give you a call ASAP and can have a chat about soundbars also.
