Irish rugby players who play/ed for a province that is not their own

Been reading an article on Conor Dean, son of Paul, who is from Dublin and attended Blackrock College but is playing for Connacht.

I can also think of Joey Carbery, who plays for Munster despite being from Kildare.

Can anyone else think of any other Irish rugby players who played for a different province?

Literally tons. A more interesting question would be if anyone has played for all 4.
I know currently John Cooney and Sean Cronin have represented 3 each. Anyone ever get the full house?

    Van der Flier
    Paul Boyle (wexford/connacht)
    Stephen Fitzgerald
John Cooney has played for Ulster & Connacht
    AJ McGinty
    Ian Keatley

    There must be dozens more

No. Cillian Willis was the first to reach 3 I think in the pro era, but don’t think any have hit 4 yet

John Fogarty also did 3. Don’t think anyone has 4, definitely not in the professional era

Van Der Flier is from Leinster and plays for Leinster.

    Steve Crosbie did three too.

    Keatley has 3 too actually.
I thought there may be some reserve prop that was 4th/5th choice at a couple of provinces and just bounced around picking up contracts not playing much and remaining relatively unknown who may have done it.

The mighty Ronan McCormack disputes this.

    Van der Flier

Van der Flier is from Wicklow and plays for Leinster......

    Robbie Henshaw
    Jeremy Loughman
    Eric O'Sullivan
    Nick Timoney
    Conor Oliver
    Mick Kearney
    Ian Nagle
    Dave Shanahan
    Sam Arnold
    Andrew Conway
    Chris Farrell
    James Hart
    Marty Moore
    Jordi Murphy
    Tom O'Toole
    Tom Daly
    Stephen Fitzgerald

And there's a heap more, they're just the ones who are still playing that haven't been mentioned already off the top of my head

Currently Ulster have plenty of players originally from Leinster

    Eric O'Sullivan
    Marty Moore
Tom O'Toole (born there, but developed in Australia and then went through the Ulster schools system but qualifies for the purpose of your question)
    Alan O'Connor
    Nick Timoney
    Greg Jones
    Jordi Murphy
    John Cooney
    Dave Shanahan

And then Clive Ross and Ian Nagle (although ironically on loan from Leinster) are both from Munster.

Oh and Jack McGrath is joining Ulster next season.

    Paul Boyle (wexford/connacht)
    Stephen Fitzgerald
John Cooney has played for Ulster & Connacht
    AJ McGinty
    Ian Keatley

Don't think anyone has mentioned James Ryan has played for Munster yet?

Robin Copeland at 2 neither of which were his home province

At pro level anyway, not sure if he played underage

The case for a dislike button gathers momentum.

He played Leinster A if that's any good.

No one owns their province they’re just keeping it warm for the next generation.

Didn't Limerickman Eoin Reddan play for three, or did Munster miss out on him?

Reddan played for Munster. I remember him lining out in Donnybrook against Leinster in 2003 just before the RWC started.
