Towing with an automatic, Nissan X Trail

Hi folks, my Avensis packed in after 380k miles :-( Anyway my wife has a 2015 Nissan X Trail automatic, 1.6lt diesel. What is an automatic like to pull a caravan?

Haven't driven one of them but normally absolutely fine once you're familiar with the gearbox functions for restricting to a lower etc if needed.

Watch the weights some auto boxes don’t have a very high rating. Rtfm is the advice I guessðŸ˜„
