Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ha, snap! Ya get used to it, the fish outta water stuff fades though. I had a wee while when I thought WTF is goin on here but gradually you become so used to it that a trip to Dublin City Centre feels more foreign to you.
    It's gradual though.

PS - I found the "moo" outside the door stops entirely when ya let the auld cow in.
    Afterall, she's still your wife!!

I’m nearly 13 years here but the cow herding is still a novelty !!

Sitting out on the patio sipping a craft beer and listening to a bit of music.

Had intentionally gone 2 weeks without a sip of booze after over-doing it for a wee while plus it coincided with a nice chap in work telling me about his alcohol issues and the damage it did to his life.
It scared me a tad. Even now I'm sipping and conscious not to over-do it and maybe let it be a fortnightly thing.
I found myself feeling lethargic and also even unsure if I had sent a message or two which I never had, but the doubt was there and I realised this crap can't go on. Ney harm cutting back. The biggest worry of the lot was the Saturday morning when I woke up and had to go through my internet history to check what I had done after 2am.
Turns out I had listened to a Beyonce song around 2.30am and then another one around 3am.
So that's 2 Beyonce songs in the one night. Cruelty to music.
That was like a dagger through the heart! Massive red flag. Didn't even know she had 2 songs.
Still, sometimes ya need to hit bottom to bounce back!!

Home now and after a few pints on a Friday night. This is rare for me! Did someone mention alcohol problems earlier in the thread? I'm gonna have a couple more and then the massive takeaway I brought with me. I so don't get to do the Friday pints at this time of year and best of all, I'm not up early in the morning. Brunch in Chequers!

You’re getting there, It’s very important to specify that it is not in the county of Blaa and a little bit further over that bridge than is walkable :)

Morning all, mutt decided that it was time for his morning walk so he forced me outta bed, totally ignoring the fact that his maid had walked him an hour before that:)

So Nespresso time as usual, sitting on the balcony as the temperature slows increases.

On the couch, will head back to Tipp later. Aunts are coming down for my cousin’s going away party and want to see the car  unfortunately I’m working till 1am and it’s unlikely I’ll get to the party myself :(

I had mentioned my friend who sadly passed away in Germany last month, today was supposed to be his last working day for this company due to his age, we had planned a farewell party. Alas as he is no longer with us, we are going to hold a wake instead.

Have no idea how many people will show up as it's an open invite.

Sitting down after a busy morning to watch The Dirty Dozen. Also trying out a lemon drizzle flavoured KitKat I found in the press - I am not impressed

Sitting out on the patio listening to James Taylor songs.... Fire & Rain at the mo. Sun belting down, house to myself for the day, slice of pizza on the go al fresco.
Not a sound to be heard aside from the music which is down nice and low anyway.
Lovely and private too since I let the trees grow nice and tall. Tis pure bliss. Quite content.
Anyway, trees had to be let grow after that ill-fated night last summer when I was having a midnight smoke and could see the silhouette of a neighbour getting his todger out for a pee in his bathroom. Plenty of tomato feed and miracle grow on the auld trees since then :pac:

Magic here now though, and the big hurling game later to look forward too.
The simple things in life are the way to go. People over complicate life too often.
Case in point lemon drizzle kitkats, I mean come on!!!!!!! Why?? Why would they do that? :D

Back at home with mammy for the last few minutes before I head out to work. The aunts saw the car and love it which I’m only delighted about :D

Off i go cycling to a friends place. A nice coffee is guaranteed and hopefully a decent lunch as well.:D

I have the terrible obligation to deliver a dino to the smallest of the four siblings. As the two big ones will be outside anyway i only need two dinos for the small ones ( 4 and 7 years old). Interested? Then have a look...
