Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lads my boss is sending me on a work junket, 2 nights away, all expenses paid and I'm getting the credit card...now I'll be working but I'm looking forward to it...he must be mad lol.

Couchside, vegging with the TV on and chilling after a rather busy day. Will I pig out on a bag of Tayto Bistro or chocolate before bed?

    Decisions, decisions...:pac:

I like you JupiterKid, we haven't interacted much but you seem like one of the more friendly and level headed posters here. That being said when the choice is between non chocolate and chocolate then the winner is chocolate always.
This is just a basic and indisputable fact of life.

Oh, I’m just as mouthy and opinionated and unbalanced as the other rabble on here in AH - you just need to meet me in person! Lol :D

    Morning all

    Light cloud but brightening 13C

I could do with a completely dry day for lawn mowing purposes.

Kitchen with coffee weetabix and toast. Great things in my head.

About to start breakfast after a walk alone the country lanes here. It's a glorious morning with a decent forecast, so hopefully a busy day ahead in the garden.

Bemused by the conference call, I'm pretty sure the boss knows as well as us that they're a total waste of time and just wants the chat and tick a box maybe :D

In fairness we did talk for 4 or 5 mins on work related items, then there was a pause, one of the lads was in his car so you can hear the clicks of hazard flashers next thing was - 'Kevin what do you fancy for the Galway Hurdle' to which he gave us his considered opinion....then we moved to 'jaysus wasn't that great hurling at the weekend' and so on until the boss says lads if there's nothing else urgent I've stuff to do...all in a days work :D

    A bit upset.

My young daughter is a lovely singer and is learning a new song. I used to love plucking away at the chords whilst she learned a new song. Just now I tried to strum along with her but my stupid arthritis-cramped left hand couldn’t press hard enough on the fretboard to form the chords and I sounded ****e.

First world problem I know but it has upset me.

I only just read this but oh I got a pain in my heart for you. I still have two guitars even though I can't play well anymore because of an old injury.. *super dee dooper hugs*

Off out to do a few hours work, catch all y'all later.

Taking advantage of my first full day at home (and alone!) in over two weeks - the madra has been taken on a long walk over the hills and I'm about to have a very leisurely lunch while reading a new book. Then an afternoon of glorious nothing-ness lies ahead of me :)

Finally back home after spending the last hour driving around the city, completely out of my way to give himself and his mates a lift into town and I’m none too happy about it. Might as well put a fcuking meter in the car at this stage because it feels like all I ever do is give him lifts to places

    /rant :o

Sitting outside my local coffee shop with a beautiful iced coffee, enjoying the sunshine and listening to Dermot Kennedy.

Went for a 5k run in the seaside park near me earlier and have the food shopping done.

    Life is good.

@kitty... had a guy at work who never got a car, he took a lift with us everyday there and back. We decided that as the company was paying him €150 a month for transportation that we deserved that money out of principle, we made him pay up. You need to do the same. And also to add that i totally agree with Sephiroth_dude. :)

At home watching TV, trying to decide if we need to go walking or stay on the sofa.
