Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just checked out the weather forecast. I've made my decision. No more wrestling with the gazebo. It's being put away. No more picking up the table brolly. It's being put away. No more picking up scattered garden chairs. They are being put away. The outdoor bar is coming indoors to the kitchen. Got no value out of that purchase this summer. I'm locking down the back garden for winter and getting ready for indoor bliss. If we get an Indian Summer in a few weeks, it's two kitchen chairs and a bag of cans at the front door.:D

Enjoying my first bit of peace of mind since I don’t know when... it might be temporary but I’m going to appreciate it.

What would be their manifesto?

Attended 'Paul Muldoon's Picnic' at Glór theatre in Ennis, a musical revue with a stellar supporting cast. Declan O'Rourke introduced a few new compositions from his upcoming album, and legend that is John Sheahan brought the house down with his consummate playing & wry banter. Only misstep was the stern hectoring of Fintan O'Toole, an acquired taste at best of times. Even so, his was a "heroic failure." And then there was Muldoon himself, dishevelled and dapper. A true master with a glint in his eye. A top-notch blues band offered the perfect marriage to his laconic prose, and not a cue was missed. All in all, a cracking evening.

Just back in the villa after dinner , a couple of me and my cousins walked instead of driving out there and we walked back in the pitch black and I had to walk up a dark hill on my own , I was never happier to see the light of our buildings 😀.
