Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Homeside after a fairly hectic week. Having some mild panic attacks. So pissed off because I know where they come from (when I went on holiday last time and came back to bad news).

Now, finally took a holiday after some years and - yep. Hai, panic attacks. Whoop. What kind of person gets stressed because of having a holiday!!!

But, it’s a Saturday. Happy weekend to you lovely people.

Morning all, heading northwards to see family today.
Packing up and hitting the road early. Got my top rated playlist to keep me company.
    Have a good day folks!

Minding my two smallies while the wife has a lie in. Then heading to the local woods with a bunch of dads from our estate and putting fairy doors and things on the trees for the kids. Good community activity and I get to feel all manly walking around with my drill :D

Patiently (not patiently) waiting for boyfriend to get ready, we are off to an historic car race today...... If someone is ever ready!
Maybe it's a bad reflection on me that I'm female but ready so quick!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Not a bad reflection at all but this brings me onto a huge TA I have. Getting ready, and the speaking alarm clock with his fifteen min interval reminders.
    It’s 7 o clock!
    It’s 7:15
    It’s half 7,
    It’s EIGHT O CLOCK (when it’s probably a 1/4 to)
    I’m not waiting for you,
Lexie, I’m ringing the taxi now it’ll be here in 15 minutes
I swear to god I’ll go without you
    ITS HALF PAST 8

So I’ll come down the stairs sweating from the rush he’ll have put on me, and he’ll be on the couch with no shoes on. Then when I’m sitting in the taxi ready to go he’ll decide to go to the toilet it drives me mental, at least be ready, pee and shoes on if you’re going to harass me to the point of making my scalp sweat.

I’m in work, annoyed a bit thinking about that.

Feeling so happy. Am home! My wee nest was sparkling clean thanks to boyfriend getting the cleaners to come in this morning so could just come home, shower, put pjs on, eat pizza, drink a beer and watch the fooball. Perfect nght.

Wiz, I hope there is "no place like home" . Best wishes.

Taking a break from a busy but enjoyable day in the garden. Things tidied up, cars washed, and all ship shape. Now to catch up on some threads, get the tea and settle down to today's newspaper.

I've come to the conclusion that I won't be publishing my book, I know realistically speaking I'd freak with nerves if did an interview etc, I'll still continue to write in my spare time though, for me :)

There are a lot of different ways to publish your own book. Nowadays you don’t need necessarily a publishing house. Just think about an e-book for example. ;)

There is also no need for live tv or radio interviews. If necessary at all it can be done at a location of your choice. Lots of interviews are done in writing. You get the questions and answer them from home.

There is zero pressure for you to publish. Do it or don’t, it’s completely within your power. Just write everything down and even if nobody will read it you’ll have it for your later self.:D

Porchside under a grey sky and enjoying it.:pac:
