Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Another filled day that has whizzed by. Go craic with old work mates this morning, then got the lawns cut.

Trying to decide between a G&T, or wine with a couple of bars of chocolate in front of the TV.

Forecast is fairly good, so a decent weekend seems in store.

Scoffing a Supermacs snack box in the kitchen. Took a detour on th way home, having promised it to myself while I was stuck in city traffic. Never had one before, rather good I think!

Thats the fun of Sams Club, everything sold in bulk, one can see why there is a massive obesity problem here.

Nothing happening work wise for the weekend, so its beer time again.

Couchside, watching a foreign film on the box and winding down after a great three days in Galway and on the Aran Islands (my third visit there :)).

Shattered tired after traveling 170 miles home on boat, bus, train and bus again.

Will you be down there, Mam?
Flowers in your hair, wellies, plastic cup of beer in each hand?

    Sounds my idea of purgatory.
Never did the festivals in my young days.
Just day concerts, Slane, Trip to Tipp etc but I always had a warm bed waiting for me at home.

I think I'd like EP if I was about ten years younger and had a really fancy tent, like the one they had in Harry Potter. :D

Mam can you sneak up to a hedge and listen in?

I'm trawling through sites looking for something to wear for an upcoming wedding, after a rush of blood to the head today I bought a Joe Brown jacket and waistcoat because I thought they would look nice with slim trousers and heels (though I'm losing weight, I'm nowhere near slim :o) I just hate dresses and flouncy clothes, I want to look tailored I'll probably look short and wide. :D

P.S: I hope it's okay to join in the chat I think I may have commented on this thread about a year ago and never again but I often read through.
