Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sitting room side watching curse of oak island and a bit fed up ,more rejection emails from companies, sometimes I wonder why I did bother going back to re-train.

You'll be as welcome as the flowers in May :)

In the bed for the last few minutes. Last day of the week at work today, so excited to be off for the weekend.

Apparently my old boss (who I left my last job over) is starting at the front office where I work now, so I’m wondering how that’ll go. She won’t be my boss and I probably won’t have much to do with her, so I’m thinking it’ll be okay

It can feel almost soul destroying at times to put the effort in to applying for jobs only to be rejected, but keep persevering! You will get something, and then the retraining will be totally worth it.

I'm at the desk marking undergraduate dissertations with Verdi's Requiem on in the background because the only suitable music for this kind of work is a 19th century funeral mass.

It's a bit of a neverending saga, that one. The Ex seems to have been watching it for the past 20 years .

    Luck with that :)

Had a grand chat between jobs this afternoon with a friend and it shortened it.

I have a doorstep that's nearly black and could do with a power wash but i think the last time I used it the machine wasn't really cooperating but I might try it anyway...sure way to bring rain :D

haha I've stopped asking ''did they find anything yet?''. The Island must be like a Swiss cheese by now with all the holes they're drilling .

Sounds a bit dubious to me to be honest .

On the couch, spent the last while setting up the mammy's kindle and showing her how to use it, I got her one for her birthday so she's only delighted with me (for now) :pac::D

I got some news today that there's a drug that I can possibly take to treat the underlying cause of CF and increase my lung function and improve my overall quality of life and hopefully increase my life span too. It's been a good day :)
