Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I did that online questionaire to help me pick the ideal candidate to vote for in the Europeans.

Suffice to say my political preferences are off the wall compared to the candidates on offer.

Did I read that you are looking for a husband? Once you find that, I can be your bit on the side :pac:

I've no idea who to vote for, there are just too many gobsh*tes to whittle through.
In work now getting ready for weekend.

I usually vote for them based on who’s poster I liked best. This year I’m giving my number 1 to the contestant who got a new haircut for this year’s posters.

There's one lad in my area that looks like Mr. Incredible, I'll probably vote for him for comedy purposes only.

I really don’t have a clue who to vote for in the European elections. I have a slight idea in the local ones, but I still don’t know a huge amount about a lot of the candidates.

I was going to vote after work but I've just received an enticing offer to attend a BBQ starting at 6pm.

    Feck voting. :pac:

I would have to drive a good hour and a half after a long day in order to vote. It's not happening. Enjoy the BBQ! :)

I voted in the middle of the work day, just to be different.

Am wondering if it’s too late to book a hotel for a snap weekend away. Hotels.com here I come.

Chilling lengthwise on the sofa after coming back from the local polling station.

My God the ballot for the Euro elections was long...must have taken several forests to make those.

I went to vote this morning and realised I hadn't a breeze who 95% of the Euro Election people on the ballot were. Felt so dumb, didn't want to just pick because I liked their hair or something so dropped an empty in the box. My silent shameful vote spoil :o

Hit the road early and now down west, it's fabulous! The air just seems to lift soon as you're west of the Shannon :)

Home alone for the weekend (wohooo!!), nipped in to the kitchen to type this sh!te but basically sitting out the back on the patio sipping a beer and listening to music, The Temper Trap, Sweet Disposition at the mo, great song.
Haven't been right since the 7th of May when Liverpool booked a final appearance which is next saturday. Jaysus, for anyone who doesn't follow sport, I dunno how you could explain the elation of that evening to them. Considering I never stop yapping it takes a lot to leave me lost for words but I barely uttered a word for a couple days after that, just walked around smiling like I had a clothes hanger stuck in my gob.
Actually counting down the days til the final already and giddy like a kid awaiting Santa.

Which might partially explain yesterday's dizzy moment when I had arranged to sell a saorview box via adverts.ie and I had arranged to meet the buyer in the car-park outside work.
So he texted me and said "outside now, in car-park, silver car".
So I walked out and saw him standing next to the silver car,he was having a smoke.
I walked over, shook hands with him and handed him the big cardboard box with the saorview box and cables and stuff in it.
And after accepting my handshake and taking the box he said to me "Sorry, what is this for?"
I then asked is your name not (***) and he said no. Who are you?
Turns out the fella I was looking for was sitting 6 cars further down in the car park in his silver car, God knows what he was thinking watching all this....
So I had to take the box back and stuttered "eh sorry, mix-up" and walk over to the other silver car.
I briefly glanced back as I walked away from the first guy and he was looking at me like I was a nut-job.
Fair enough I suppose. No arguments there.

Anyway, "Sweet disposition like nobody's watching you" .... Feckin hope not anyway!!! :)

Mon the Reds next Saturday, YNWA
