Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In a market looking at antiques and wondering is it even worth the hassle of resisting temptation?

Oh, lads. The weather in Clare feels like last December :(

I've got the house to myself for most of the weekend , but I'm rattling around like a ghost when I'm on my own.

Writing and drinking tea and smoking like a fiend.

Having my palm read tonight or tomorrow :)

I had to wait for a few showers to pass before getting out for a walk. Did about 5 Km, app on phone said 6 but I doubt it. Two tired doggies (and me)

Cottage kitchen with coffee, will ramble to the village for food later.

    Cooling puddle...:)

I am sitting in my garden, alone, defiant that this wind / intermittent sun isn't going to stop me from drinking cocktails and googling push button toilets while my Indian takeaway is being decided.

Well as predicted earlier, I've a whooping great blister on my heel.. A few more Carlsberg's (don't ya love the bank holiday weekends) and I'll burst it, drain it and take off the peeled skin to air dry it.

Now watching The Frankenstein Chronicles on Netflix and sinking a crate of Carlsberg :D

Spending my rare bank holiday Sunday night off in the living room with some candles lit, the window open and listening to the stormy weather outside while reading and enjoying a rare glass of lovely bourbon. Starting the work week from hell tomorrow evening so have postponed moving into the new gaff until next week.

Sitting with a coffee , watching the grey clouds roll in , it was beautifully sunny earlier .

Sky News on , Donald Trump arriving in England , somehow his hair stayed still while his wife's hair was blowing around the place :p

....it don't take money, don't take fame, don't need no credit card to ride this train...

    Morning all

Greetings from sunny spells Connemara, coolish although the gale is gone.

Might be able to drag another couple of days out of this place
It's a great place to think and dream even about good stuff i would have thought extremely unlikely a couple of months ago.

In other news the dogs seem to have recovered from yesterdays walk and are looking to go out exploring but the [place is not 100% dog proof

    Coffee is gone cold...

Good morning, and so am I lol.

Today would have been a run rest day anyway, but this blister has made sure I'm on the bike instead

    481811.jpg

Since I wore well worn in trainers and good socks I can only imagine it was caused by yesterdays heat.

So to the now, just finished a beautiful bowl of porridge and having some coffee before going for a cycle.. Then a walk in the sea to help heal this blister.

I'm now watching my favourite man and thinking of looking up honeymoon destinations :D Ted I hope you like the sun :D

Mind that blister ... had one a while back and it got very infected. Foot is still not back to normal

Well, I was eating breakfast until I saw that blister!!
Back from walking the dog, a huge crowd going into bloom today, anyone bringing a car is crazy!
Made it yesterday about 3 1/2 hours later than expected, not too bad, but my case was not so lucky....... I knew it wouldn't make it as I ran through Stockholm airport..... Hopefully it shows up today......
