Pretty much sold on him.... 🀣

Assuming Rashers is fit, do we expect Lukaku to start this weekend? I know there is a significant chance he blanks but if I were to waste a transfer on bringing him in only to not start at this crucial stage of the season, I might have to hurt myself. Lukaku often shows up against the weak teams and they don't get weaker than Hud. League leader has Rashers so no point in me going there as it won't close the gap, I need to be punty.

Lukaku is 50/50 with a hamstring injury so he's probably not even going to start.

Without even making a transfer I have some very very tough calls to make
play ryan away to Arsenal or Dubravka at home to my double pool attack
Play WanB away to Cardiff or the very attacking Valery away to West Ham
Stick with the horribly out of form Pogba because of fixtures? Son ?
    Bench Brooks ?
    Captain.........

    aaaggghhhh

Really? He's not even flagged! Back to the desperation punt drawing board for me.

    Didnt train

Thought I read Lukaku is out for the season. Pity because I was going to bring him in and captain him

Saw a pic of rashford back training so considering bringing him in for vardy.

Be careful there as his injury is to his shoulder so he might be able to train but that doesn't mean he is able to do full contact training.

Was all set to bring in Jota for Redmond but now that Rashford is back training and Lukaku injured, I might go with Rashford. Will see tomorrow.

Thinking Alisson and RRRRondon to Leno and Rashford for -4. Exact funds to do it. Thoughts?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,712 ✭✭✭Sawduck

Going to bring in a City midfield player and sell either Son or Eriksen, leaning towards Son because he has been one of my most disappointing signings, 12 points total in 5 games

Who would you bench between Vardy (against City) and Wilson (against Spurs)? Both explosive on their day

Tough one. Vardy was playing for me regardless. If I had Wilson it would be a tough choice. Maybe Spurs might be more vulnerable. Some saying they looked tired against Ajax.

    Thinking of Son/Wilson to Hazard/Long

Don't need to start Long this week (can go 442 with TAA VVD Kolasinac Doherty)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

    Lloris, Foster

    Valery, Kola, Laporte, Doherty, Kelly

    Sterling, Mane, Son, Jota, JWP

    Aguero, Rashford, Jiminez

0.3m ITB/1FT & 17 points behind in my money league

    Any advice

Was Rashford back doing full training with the main group of players or off on his own?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,908 ✭✭✭claw

Are people hanging onto Vardy? Have Aguero and Jimenez. Options are Rashford(might not be fit), Wilson(never have him when he gets points) and the two Arsenal strikers(who knows what happens there :)). Have 2 free transfers and no money in the bank.

Think this is another very hard week to predict things to be honest. I would play Ryan over Dubravka, I have had Dubravka for a while and he never seems to make any saves. If I had Pogba I would play him not sure I would be rushing to get him though! I have the same problem with Brooks as I have Deulofeu too and I am not sure who to play out of the two of them.

    United press conference at 10.
We'll get some news on who's fit.
I'm holding off on getting Rashford in for Gray until I know for definite that he plays.

This is why I don’t like a late wildcard.

I carry muck on my bench all season so I don’t have the headache of weekly decisions.

Have to decide on starting Son or King this weekend.

I’m leaning towards King at the minute. No idea why.

Think your decision boils down to who you trust more, Bournemouth or Spurs. I think the last few weeks have proved that just because a team has something to play for, doesn't mean they are good enough to get the result. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Bournemouth won tomorrow.

De Bruyne (havent had a chance to move him yet) and Son for Pogba and Hazard (-4) - no brainer?

    Pogba is injured.

    Source?

    Pogba is injured.

    WHAT!!!!!!!!!
I’m in big trouble if that’s true
There is absolutely nothing anywhere suggesting he is injured though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,838 ✭✭✭✭dahat

I've just been on Twitter and not any indication whatsoever towards a Pogba injury.

Source this rumour or delete the post asap, too much at stake this late in the season.

Is anyone still gonna risk bringing in Rashford? It's either him or Jota in.

I wouldn't even bring a fit Pogba in

    So Lingard is out.

What will the midfield be ?

Can someone stab at a midfield with Pogba and one without Pogba ?

I’m gambling on a United midfielder one way or the other.

Would love to bring in Martial but concerned with his minutes in the last two games.

I might do for Vardy since I have 2 free transfers. Already have Jimenez and Aguero.

Mata is probably the safest bet other than Pogba. Martial might be upfront though if he plays!

    Yeah. If he plays.

Been getting Pogba in all week but that news is worrying and is now putting me off.

Might just take a chance on Martial.

I’m definitely bringing in a United midfielder.

If I knew Martial would start I’d captain him.

Wasn't martial singled out for the lack of effort in the warm up of a game and Sanchez coming on ahead of him against Chelsea.

All that said martial could run riot against Huddersfield and Cardiff

    Could very well be.

The clocks changing has messed me about a bit as I’m in a different time zone.

I’m completely out of the loop re who’s in the good books at United.

My call would be Firmino starts, he has too. If he was any way doubtful he wouldn't have have had him on the bench midweek.

It feels wrong to possibly sell Pogba for a hit with those fixtures.........but he has been in stink form all the same........I could go pogba to jwp/redmond and son to sterling/hazard

Rumours circulated and he didn't appear to train on Weds at the open training session.

Only rumours no confirmation at this point

Was all set to do Eriksen to Pogba, but his general dire form and now potential injury has left me doubting myself.

Can get Hazard in for a hit, would again be Eriksen out plus a downgrade or either Lloris or Duffy??

-4 done Alisson and Rondon to Pickford and Rashford

    For ****s sake.

It’s after midnight and I’m sitting here none the wiser.

2 FT’s and waiting on news of Pogba.

    **** this.

Martial it is and I’m off to bed now.

Argggghh...so torn between either Rashford in for King, OR, Jota in for Redmond.

Both of them are in FPL's starting 11, and both are picked 3 times in FFS squad selections, but only Jota makes the starting 11 there.

Rashford Pros - against a relegated team. Get to keep Redmond for Huddersfield in GW38.
Rashford Cons - injury concern, not in form, club not in form.

Jota Pros - at home to Fulham. In form, club in form.
Jota Cons - won't play him in GW38. No Redmond for GW38.

    What would you guy's do?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,089 ✭✭✭Pete_Cavan

I have kinda decided that my ft this GW is to get in Luke Shaw (nothing else jumping out and league leader doesn't have Utd defence so it could close the gap). Should I get rid of Kola or Wanb? Brighton haven't been scoring recently so potential Cs with Kola and he gets forward a lot but Arsenal are very poor at the back. Wanb hasbeen a great asset and a beast for bonus points but Cardiff are fighting for survival and I have Guaita already for Palace defence. Who do I drop?

Southampton have Huddersfield next week, I wouldn't be selling Redmond
