Hi all so we're currently refurbishing our 1st home,based in South offaly we've had a few surprises so far and had hoped to change our windows but now due budget restrictions we're now looking at repairing/upgrading the windows we have which are about 10-15yrs old, I think they are upvc double glazed, it would be mainly…

Cant give a definitive answer but looking for new windows myself at the moment and noticed that some companies quote you for windows with a 1.0 U value and others with about 0.3. There is a difference in the price naturally so just be aware that it might be worth your while paying the extra for a window that will help to keep the house warmer.
