Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So in my head I've started to plan my next bike. I'm thinking I'd like something nice and light. I have an aero bike so not looking at anything aero designed. I used a Canyon Ultimate CF SL over in Sardinia recently for 6 days and I loved it, was a joy to cycle. Never got uncomfortable or sore on it and was good up and downhill.

So far, from my little bit of research, I have narrowed it down to these frames,

    Scott Addict RC
    Ridley Helium SLX
    Canyon Ultimate CF SLX

Don't really want to be spending sworks money on a frame. Have had a cannondale super six and even though I liked it I wouldn't be rushing back.

So what am I missing, light weight, looks well and carbon. Not asking for too much really??

If you loved the Canyon, why not just get the Canyon?

No reason, had looked at it, then seen a scott addict and thought it was nice, then seen the ridley helium and liked that! It's definitely high up the list though, probably number 1 choice at the moment.

I love my Scott Addict. Climbs really well, great race bike too.

I've seen one of the 2019 Ridleys with my own eyes in the red and grey and it's gorgeous.

    and to further complicate:
Go with the Canyon, lovely bike. I've had my Ultimate CF SLX for over 4 years. Love it.

A bonus for the ridley is that you can custom colour your frame before ordering meaning it's one of a kind
