Its possible, there is a lack alright.

Maybe Garth Brooks is going back on tour. If he does come, he’l clearly, do 3 x Croke Parks, and several other stadiums around the country.

There was several Croke July gigs since ‘08, 2015 to 2019 all had some gigs in July.

GAA want cash, hence Grab All Association, they will move mountains if cash available. If it wasn’t an issue for the last 5 years, its not an issue now.

The impact of the concerts was a lot worse and got a lot more coverage last year than previous years. In June you get 2 weeks to recover the pitch, in July it's only 1 week

Maybe , the FAI should follow suit, looks like they need it more than the GAA.

Thats true, but you are dealing with an organisation who have consistently shown no regard for anything, when it comes to cash influx’s, people forget, this is the organisation who gave the nod to Aiken Promotions(who would not have been able to announce extra gigs without the GAA’s approval) to keep selling Garth gigs, allthough they knew dam well, 3 was the customary max, and what a **** storm that turned into. I wouldn’t cross the road to see Garth, but i would have been seriously pissed off, if i was a fan.

Aikens downplayed the GAA’s role in the media, to keep sweet with them for future gigs, but there is no doubt the GAA singlehandedly, caused that disaster, by being their usual greedy selves.

Nope. Strict guidelines on time frames between gigs and football or rugby games combined with pitch management policy means they're already near capacity. Plus it's 50/50 split with the IRFU and they've little need to extend beyond their remit.

Yeah I'd say so but usually gigs announced together. But with Marquee likely last year at current location at least would make sense for someone like the Frames to play

Given that Aikens are the promoter its likely..
Could be a “one off” gig at Kilmainham, eg no second gig at that venue.
I have noticed that many Marquee gigs are not announced at the same time as Iveagh Gardens or other venues Aikens are tied into. Occasionally they are, but more often they are not.

There should be a good few more Marquee events.
Currently, the first to last gigs, spans a 32 day period, and just 11 acts announced so far, though i would see a second gig for John Bishop, who has sold very well.

Stiff competition from MCD over at Musgrave Park,, 7 gigs announced there so far, but likely to be 1 or 2 more, as its currently a 13 day period so far. This year, MCD had 6 gigs over 7 days.
