So the brother (38) got an abpm done as doctor thinks he was stressed etc . Brother got " all clear" but me being Mr Nosy asked him could I have a look, sure enough his avg bp for 24hrs is 126/77 pretty good but when I look at his day v night his day avg bp is 141/84 and night is 107/65 . To me it looks like he does have stage 1 hypertension during day and his extreme low night bp is masking it? Or is doc right and you go by the average?

P.s haven't said this to the brother as don't want to stress him out

Perhaps encourage him to go back to get tests. Outside that nothing can be said because it requires a medical professional and nothing else could be said here as it would be medical advice or guesswork which are both against charter.
