Is that the new suspect in the McCann case?

I knew you would appreciate it:)

    So Sturridge starts!

    Any opinions?

It's a fecking disgrace that the team entered this season with Sturridge on the books and his replacement scoring 15-20 goals for a different side.

Am I wrong but didn't Sturridge have a better goal ratio to Fowler and Owen before he got injured?

Gonna be seeing the Sturridge dance in the next 45 minutes, guaranteed.

The whole attitude that this will be a walkover and an easy win for Liverpool is very offputting for me, Newcastle are not a bad team at home and Rafa is a fantastic manager. I doubt he's going to have them roll over for us.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

He might have, but Salah reached 50 goals for Liverpool in 72 games, edit all that - Sturridge still has only 42 for Liverpool in league and 59 in all comps.

Start mane cf salah on right and shaq or ox on the left

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,984 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

So what actually counts as a high boot because Mane just got kicked in the head

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,424 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

You know anywhere else on the pitch and that’s a foul.

Blatant high boot there, but it doesn’t seem to count as a foul unless Mane is the one dishing it out.

That would’ve been an indirect free kick instead of a penalty though, dangerous play strangely isn’t a penalty offence in the box.

How does the ref see that there's the potential for a head injury and stops the play, but doesn't give a foul?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,984 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

    Too easy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,520 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Easy as you like, Virgil van Dijk. :)

Get in VVD, that delivery was missed in Spain

Two Newcastle players went with Mane there and left Virgil unmarked. Sunday league defending tbh, very surprising from a Rafa team.

Mane has scored like 3 headers in the past week or so to be fair

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

    How easy was that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,984 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Sturridge has made 3 great passes so far, already done more than last week

And the opposition bought into that fact too much it seems.

It's crazy that your goalkeeper can take a bad goal kick and get to retake it by having his own player just run into the box.

Brighton will have nothing to play for on the final day. So that’s an easy win.

Neither did QPR. Yes I’m clutching at straws.

Absolute mess, in complete control before that awful panicked pass from Lovren.

Jesus lovren, what a disaster he is

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,328 ✭✭✭✭citytillidie

Absolutely despise him for **** like this. He's an absolute liability and an accident waiting to happen. Nervous as soon as I saw his name on the team sheet.

TAA is lucky to not be sent off there. Should be a red anyway.
    First attack, first goal. FFS.

Ref listening to the crowd now waving the player to get up and then blows for the freekick

    TAA lucky to be on.

    Hangover from Barca is evident

Lovren’s crappy back pass put us under pressure there but there was a lot of play after that before the goal. Nobody went to pressure Manquillo on the wing. Just let him cross it. Sign of tiredness maybe.

Lucky Rafa is letting us win......

Newcastle look decent. Off the bar. We need to get going here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,520 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

What a sexy goal that was.

    Ridiculously casual finish

Sturridge with the cleverness to do something out of nothing to set Trent up for the cross.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,399 ✭✭✭ush

No marking on all three goals.

****ing hell, Newcastle are not to be taken lightly, Liverpool dozing

Does anybody remember the pass Lovren got from Trent before that, or perhaps the passage of play that we endured after that poor pass that led to the goal. Talk about scapegoating.

Not that it matters right this minute, lovely Mo :pac:
