Group of fella's heading to Boston for 4 nights next week (Thursday - Monday).

Looking for recommendations of things to do, places to eat & pubs for a few beers..

Potential activities so far are the following:
    - Celtics v Bucks Friday night if it makes game 6 (I'm guessing tickets will be like goldust)
    - Red Sox playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    - Duck tour
    - Venture out to Harvard/MIT
    - Smith & Wollensky (Food)
    - Brewery tour (seems to be several to choose from)
    - Cheers bar for the novelty of it
    - The black rose

Any recommendations to add to the list or any of the above to be avoided? Haven't been in over 10 years and the one pub I remember (The littlest bar) appears to be no more.

Also, might try get the GAA matches on the Sunday. Are we better off venturing out to the suburbs for this?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

From a food point of view, try Summer Shack on Dalton St. Great seafood, crab and lobster etc. Good buzzy vibe with a wide selection of locally brewed beers. The Harpoon IPA among my favourites. Busy with Sox fans before games. Lobster roll from Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market a must. Loads of great Italian restaurants in the North End and if you are around the Back Bay area and suffering from a hangover. The Friendly Toast near the station is just the spot for breakfast/brunch.

If you like BBQ then Smoke Shop is really good https://thesmokeshopbbq.com/

There's resale tickets for the NBA game here https://www.stubhub.com/boston-celtics-tickets-boston-celtics-boston-td-garden-5-10-2019/event/104017706, I presume they go up in price if the game is confirmed as necessary.

The smoke shop sounds exactly what I'd be looking for so gonna make an effort to pay it a visit at some stage.

Been keeping an eye on celtics tickets the last few days and they keep creeping up. Might be hard justify the asking price of $150 so will more than likely catch it in a good sports bar and get the red sox game in on the Saturday.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
