I am sorry but that was a terrible effort at trying to sing Shallow. They should choose a different song. Leave Lady Gaga and your man Bradley to do Shallow.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Margo has to go to change into Daniel for part 2 !!!

This had me spitting out my wine. Waste of good liquor!

Big Tom and sandy Kelly sang duets really well. So did Larry Cunningham and Margo. And philomena begley and ray lynam. That duet just now was an insult to country music.

I only saw this today, Tubs is staying but he is pretending he turned down a big job in that London place

"Ryan Tubridy revealed that he’s “going nowhere” and plans to continue hosting the Late Late Show.

The RTE star, who has been the face of the hit talk show for 10 years, said: “I think I’m happier now than I have ever been here. I’m going nowhere.

“If I am asked to go somewhere, absolutely, I’ll walk on- but for now, there is no vacancy.”

But the 45-year-old also revealed that he turned down a “great” job opportunity in London because the time and circumstances weren’t right.

Ryan also said that his desk being removed from the show was a welcomed change.

The dad-of-two told the Irish Daily Star: “One of the great things that happened is removing the desk."

"The first Lady of Country, Susan McCann ..."

Has he forgotten Margo is in the building? That's her title. If there are any sharp objects around he needs to be careful.

    Don't mess with Margo.

Do you dumped your son as a baby but now your singing with him on the late late show.....priceless!

This would be like a Brazilian footballer making a living in the Central African Republic, or something. And being invited onto a Pointless Television show with his Dad.

He has a northern accent which he seems to think he's making sound American.

And a guitar with the stars and stripes.

    This is comical.

That's true, and I'd well believe it about Susan.

    Not so much about Margo.

There's a traveller girl Nikita Ward on youtube from a few years back. She has the most beautiful country voice. It's a joy to listen to her.

I'm unable to post a link sorry.

    Spot on Donie

The Spinal Tap lads need to do a parody of this.

They did A Mighty Wind about folk music which was similar but the LLS Country Show turns it up to eleven

I would love it if someone said "Ryan, my real passion is blues and soul but for some reason Irish people will only to country gigs so I am forced to pretend to like this God awful ****e"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,696 ✭✭✭Lisha

I can’t properly explain how much I detest Irish country ‘music’ . Puremuck

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,908 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

It's amazing the effect good influence can have on a person. She's a star in the making.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,739 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

Well, I Ryan, I've been steeped in country music since I was a child. Since way before this current wave of cashing in on it's apparent popularity. I remember as a child ma' momma used to own and "Glenn Campbell at The Country Store" cassette tape, and ma' Daddy used to watch Dallas.

If you tan the body then for the love of all that matters use a similar colour on your face.

    Or from Manchester

I recall in 1980 country music was all the rage in rural Scotland and I thought it was so seriously uncool when visiting as an 18 year old.
