Ring type doorbell alternative

    Hi all,

    I want to replace my standard door bell with one with a camera which would use wifi to come up on phone only, not push about tv/monitor.

    We have several google home minis in the house, if that makes any difference.

    It would have to use existing wiring and not battery.

    Lots of options out there, would be happy to buy off ali/gearbest/ebay.

    Any recommendations?

    I have the Nest Hello.

    Pros:
    *Easy to install.
    *Picture quality is excellent.
    *Looks great.
    *Performs well.
    *Last 5 days backed up to the cloud for only €50 a year.
    *Can use existing doorbell wiring.
    *Simple to export footage of events.
    *Facial recognition.
    *User friendly software
    *Can “ring” Google Homes
    *Front door can stream live to Google Hub.

    Cons:
    *Price (€279)
    *Easy to steal.
    *Caused an issue with my Nest smoke and C02 detectors thy I can’t resolve.
    *Have experienced some camera outages recently (few and far between but still of concern).
