From shopping around it seems quite a few new developments give a finished bathroom without the shower tray installed. I had a further look and came across some horror stories such as the ceiling falling in and the builder refusing to fix it as the root cause was the shower tray.

I haven't been able to find an estimate on the cost, but considering the liability the installer would be taking on I can imagine it would cost quite a bit. Has anyone had one installed that could give me a ball park figure for the installation?
