The ref sounds utterly devastated that he needs to give that try :D

Half expected him to refer a check if the player needed a number on his back to be allowed score a try.

Very enjoyable game to watch. A bit loose but easy on the eye :)

I hope Joe was watching. Excellent replacements for both POM and Stander on view!

So what we're saying, as Leinster fans, is that the most important result of the day went our way... Yeah?

    Please.

    :)

Great picture quality in fairness to the broadcasters. It made the appalling picture quality we have to endure for the Pro14 embarrassing.

Was a weird game. We were absolutely miles ahead of them in the first 25 minutes, dominating the set piece and general play, scored 19 points in that period.

Then the foot started coming off the gas, discipline went to shíte, subs were made and all of a sudden we'd let them score 3 unanswered tries of their own.

After that it was just scrappy, score for score and some sloppy play from both sides. Just felt completely disjointed and sloppy.

I know it's a meaningless game and all, but wasn't really expecting it from what was essentially our Pro14 team, thought there would've been a bit more cohesion.

A reasonably good Ireland team played Canada at home in 2016 and were only one score ahead at half time.

This is a second string Leinster side, Canada are at home - and the coaches have probably had more access to the players in the last three months than in the last three years.

    Let's not completely undersell them.

But this is a completely different team than this Canada team who got a spanking from Fiji and the USA in the PNC last month and lost to Tonga. They also lost to Brazil and Uruguay at the start of the year.

I'm not saying it's doom and gloom or a bad sign, it's a preseason game abroad after all. Just thought we didn't get to see a lot of clean moves or any real structured play, was just 80 minutes of chaos from both sides.

They're holding them back for the World Cup...

I think you're expecting a bit much tbh. Leinster have usually been pretty awful in these games, they're about getting physically up to speed, taking game contact, getting match fit again rather than busting out the moves. Not concerned at all.

So, if I understand this right, Leinster get Canada's spot in Pool C? Great stuff, can't wait for Leinster Vs All Blacks.

Anyone seen him play before? What’s his general game like? Both finishes are obviously sensational, but very intelligent also.

Very good, great feet and a powerful runner, played 15 for Michael's last season

Great prospect. What club does he play for?

Listening to James Lowe on House of Rugby and he mentioned he's around 107kg. That's pretty impressive for a winger. Didn't realise he was that big!

Around 90kg is his impressive hair :p:p:p:p:p

he does answer the question if he will play for Ireland, interesting that he said that when he was initially approached it was mentioned about playing for Ireland.....first time a player has come out and said that
