Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great that it's on rte because Virgin Media 1 is non HD on Sky.

    You sure about RTE2?
At the time of the deal announcement I'm fairly sure it was said that Virgin/TV3 would have both finals exclusively.

Correct. Although it's better than the UK situation with zero live FTA coverage it's still a shambles that VM1 are still not HD on Saorview to properly showcase a huge sporting event as this

I think BT show it on YouTube free for those living in the UK and VPN users... :)

It's on Virgin Media 1. The station formerly known as TV3.

This is not true as VM1 is in HD on Sky.

But only if you pay extra for their HD package, which is free in the UK

Well of course you have to have a HD sub. That's a different matter, but I agree we shouldn't have to pay for HD TV in this day and age. It's why I'll be dumping Sky pretty soon.

According to this article on The Irish Times, the final will not be on RTE.

I don't think there should be an "of course" about it.

I have a basic sky package with a HD box

I get HD RTE, HD TG4, HD BBC and a whole lot of of other HD stations on the basis package.

But I would have to pay extra for VM1 (TV3 to most of us) in HD.

    That's crazy

    It's 2019.

Paying extra for HD for anything is a scam basically.

I'm mildly disgusted its not on RTE. It'll be like watching through cellophane on VM.
