Anyone know what the story is with the rollout of fibre broadband to Birdhill?

There's works currently going on approaching the village from the Limerick side, which I believe are the crowd installing the fibre.

We've had major issues for years, in that we've been unable to get decent broadband of any kind, and aren't currently in the plans (apparently our area is covered by the NBP, which will be done in the next 5-7 years if we're lucky) :rolleyes:
