SkyScanner Different prices question

Two seperate pictures here, lets take outbound 15th august. Look at the prices, If I return in august, the outbound flight is €209. change return month to september the outbound flights €194. The amount change is minimal. But why does it matter when I return?

Firstly Skyskanner does not have live pricing, secondly cheaper fare buckets could be sold out for the dearer flight.
