Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's only worked 2 'full' weeks since the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Today marked his 21st day of holidays (excluding public holidays, which would make it 26), and we're not yet half-way through the year.

I guess or hope I haven’t missed much, cos I’ve no intention listening back. In hot sunny Latvia, in the regal city of Riga, and what strikes first, apart from the beautiful architecture and greenery, is the fact that there is not one piece of litter to be found anywhere. All the Latvians clapped when Michael O’Leary’s bugle went off; that wouldn’t impress our host, who is presumably at back at the poolside in France.

You've missed nothing at all, unless you have a horror-story for Joe about a certain car rental company (still in business as of 3pm today)

    Enjoy Riga!

The car company which is pronounced exactly the way Joe pronounces the adjective of numeral 6.

I popped into historic local church, was it the local Lutheran, I dunno, but what a sound emanating from within that drew me past it’s door. Bach’s Fugue in G Minor bring practiced on the organ to an empty church. As Joe might say (but not to this, he’d prefer knees up mother brown) Wow!

Didnt take him long to forget that statement. ;) about 4 days I believe

Joe would have rejoiced at all de foive fibre gades, one ambulance, and de gas company truck which arrived simultaneously with me outside a building. Apparently a gas leak had occurred within, all windows thrown open above.

Meantime nearby are little trucks and cars for de chiselers in de park. Don’t think they’d last too long in one piece in Doobalin town. Not much evidence of salt a de eerts here. Only one homeless elderly man, who wasn’t begging but one man ran up behind him to give him a tenner.

I'm just listening back to the podcast and am I wrong in hearing or am I mental in saying that some woman rang in about a homeless person being abused and another one rang in about how travellers had took over her area????

Am I wrong or is something gone mental here??

Oh, interesting. In what context was it mentioned so to speak? Was it a discussion on blasphemy? Was McSavage a guest? Was it being praised?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,363 ✭✭✭✭Del.Monte

Just a general mutual back slapping chat with McSavage.

That clip started out as sharp satire; the show has gone so much further down the misery rabbit hole in recent years it now looks like a week in review clip.

More than likely, the owner was receiving complaints from other guests and had no other choice than to investigate.

Maybe they've never dealt with this issue.

Selfish of a mother to go to a wedding on her own, and then get the husband to stay locally in a B&B

Joe has zero interest in this story because the babby never doyed.
