Darcy could learn a thing or two off him. Nuacht at 4.07 the other day.

I never took it again after that 46A bus bad trip; also started seeing a fox’s head on a faux fur scarf someone in seat in front of me was wearing. In later life, post surgery in hospital, morphine had rather similar effect. Not fond of these drugs at all, and imagine people behind the wheel of s car under their effects.

Friends, comrades, enemies, I think I have unwittingly discovered Joe Duffy's biggest fan, and he's known to me.

Missed today's thread because I was driving my brother-in-law to the airport. He was in charge of the radio. As soon as we were outside the homely bosom of the Tipp FM radio signal, he started flicking the channels; it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon and within a few flicks he found Joe Duffy. How I regret writing this.

"Oh this eejit!", I cried "what an insufferable gobsh-te!"
-You don't like it? (as will become clear, my b-i-l is a certified foreigner)
"A class A ursehole, Mahmoud" (not his real name)
    -I'll change it
    "No! ... I mean let's, uh, let's just listen..."

Then the topic of cannabis came up. Mahmoud tilted his ear to the radio, clearly fascinated by the imbecile on the other end of the transmission, but he was not incredulous enough for my liking. I tried to encourage him.

    "Obnoxious, isn't he, hmm?"
-He makes some very interesting points (Here I barked)
    "He's a populist! A ... a ... an amateur, just listen!"
But Mahmoud only had ears for Joe
-An excellent point! Yes, yes; Two wrongs don't make a right
"Sweet Jesus. He tried to get some Brazilian journalists shot" (Here, I was desparate)
-And he used to be a probation officer you say? Yes, so wise (I considered driving the car into a ditch)
I still had one trick up my sleeve

"Would you believe, he earns 400k per year for this schtick?"

-In [my country], the wife of the Prime Minister spend this on her pussycats (I thought he was going to say something else) - He do a good job, yes?

My Christ. By the end of the programme he was totally smitten with Joe, the working class hero. I've logged his phone and wifi details, and if he ever attempts to post here in praise of Joe, I promise to ban him at once.

    I am sorry.

    De greewsome dubble murder.
    Cannabis
Donegal priest got an open letter from the dead telling people how to vote.

"Believe it or not "is phrase of the day. He said it about 5 times.

You have to laugh at Duffy getting angry at that election candidate the other day. Do you remember him?

Caller: "Joe we have a problem with lack of Gardaí in our area. Actually I'm running in the local elections on that issue".
Duffy: "Well I didn't know that you were gonna say that. Now I have to list off the names of all the other candidates. And that's such a f**king huge job for me, and me only getting 400k a year for sitting on my h0le."

    (well something like that).

But the whole facade that they put up, that they are "completely objective" on the local and European elections, and give everybody the same air time. In all the debates they have done, they have cherry picked the candidates that they wanted on their panel shows, coincidentally those candidates from the big parties. Some of the candidates were brought in and given 30 seconds to record a message, even asking some of the candidates to re-record the message until it was something that RTE was happy with!

That's true impartiality and objectivity, RTE style.

Joe gonna take the piss out of this guy for a while.

No chance of him doing the same to the prison authorities who let that murderer out, or the establishment politicians.
