Gift voucher for business not trading at the moment

    I bought a gift voucher just under a year ago for an activity day. I spoke to the company today who said the business is on hold as their insurance renewel has come in so high the whole business is in doubt. He advised me to wait and hopefully it can be sorted out.
    Is that all I can do? Am I likely just to lose the money - think I paid by debit card

    Yea nothing you can do here unfortunately. Other than talking to him and asking for your money back you're out of luck.

    Make a booking at the earliest possible opportunity, or see can you use the voucher to buy physical merchandise (e.g. if it is a flying school, maybe you can get books or a flight suit or something).

    Otherwise, it is not looking good.
