    Hey,

Can anyone give advice on the apartments here ... considering moving here.

Seem like the transport links are good with the LUAS not too far away etc.

How is the area link for shops and other amenities etc.

    thanks

There's a huge thread about Royal Canal Park (the houses) in the Accommodation forum but it covers a lot of the amenities etc. in the area.

In summary it's a great spot to live. 10-15 mins walk to Broombridge Luas/Train, 15-20 to Ashtown. Lovely walks along the canal or in Tolka Park. Centra is handy for the little stuff. There's a cafe and a beauty salon there too. Aldi will (apparently, don't hold your breath!) be open by the end of June. Romayo's for the odd bag of chips. Supervalu & Ashtown (hairdresser, barber, pharmacy, cafe, pub, geisha . . . ) are 15 mins walk away. Nice market in Glasnevin 30mins walk away of a Saturday morning. Park Run in Tolka Park too. Free Gym membership included. Various other fitness classes about the place.

If you cycle in particular* it's very very handy for everything [Ashtown/Phoenix Park/Inspire Fitness in Cabra/Glasnevin Market/commute to town/Blanchardstown/Park Run].

*I'm actually not a fan of cycling but with the canal path being flat and traffic free the annoying hassly bit is gone and basically it's no bother.
