    Ohhhh...... 2 shot swing already!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,760 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Jazz a bit off key so far, swing just needs some fine tuning and he'll be hitting the right notes again in no time

His caddy, an old timer from Noo Yawk, who has, to pay the bills, worked early shifts at the supermarket since highschool, but has skin like boot leather from years on the course, was interviewed earlier.
    Great character.

    Great character.

    Saw that earlier, great interview.

The only way he could be more New York is if he was wearing a Yankees hat while eating a hot dog

He's the only one that can I reckon, Varner looks toast already

Awesome commentary on Varner's shot from the rough. 'Thats gone left and it's gone where the elephants go to die'.

Kang is making a charge. Can Kodos be far behind?:p

Surely there could be a few more looking for Varner's ball? It looked like just himself, his caddy and one other

I don’t know what’s wrong but I’m not enjoying this at all.

Surely you can appreciate what Brooks is doing? Even though he is struggling off the tee he is in total control.

The shot tracker seems to be miles off on occasions this week.

For Koepka's last drive they had the ball going into the rough to the right hand side of the fairway yet it was in the rough to the left of the fairway.

Pretty poor as it makes you not trust it now.

One of my favorite ones from Radar earlier this year was "he's going to hit this up in the air and hope to get it to land like a butterfly with sore knees"

Runaway winner + bland course (imo) = not much of a spectacle

Well bland is certainly the wrong word. Extremely tough is what I think you were looking for.

Koepkas really getting the breaks off the tee

The course is OK but I wouldn't have it down as a top course. It's tough, it's the ideal us open course.

Sometimes it looks like that on TV even when they're in excellent condition. I believe it's down to the type of grass, which is poa annua this week if I'm not mistaken.

Won’t take anything away from him, he’s blown them away so far and has been amazing but it’s a major, am just not getting any buzz like you would at any other one.

Am not a fan of that penal rough either.

Except how to play it well, or even decently

Fair play to DJ,he's giving a real go.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,301 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

This could get interesting yet. Dusty on fire, a couple of bogeys from Brooks and it's very close.

    Lead only 4 shots.

    Prefer a bit of rough

The course is tough but it's not very memorable at all, few holes you could pick out of a line up.
