Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

    Lets get this party started

Santa Claus lookalike and former member of The Dubliners John Sheahan is on. Don't worry, he isn't sick but he is turning 80 and pals including Declan O’Rourke, Damien Dempsey, Ralph 'Tickle On The Tum' McTell, Phelim Drew, and Steve Wickham are coming along to give him the bumps

Nine-time Irish champion jockey Pat Smullen has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, sadly. You and I both know that this interview will be more about the Big C than the Gee Gees

Internationally-successful authors Liz Nugent, Jo Spain and Patricia Gibney are "Three of the leading lights of the Irish crime fiction scene" I didn't know that was a scene, did you? So that's them in to talk about the crime novels and the scene and that.

Ireland Goalie Darren Randolph is in, and he is bringing his Mam Anne Randolph who is a singer, apparently. They are both still well down the list of famous Randolphs, currently led by Randolph The Red Nose Reindeer and Randolph Duke from Trading Places

The crap from the Antique Repair Show will be back as good as new, with the contestants having done all the work themselves. No honestly, Ryan.

Then "there's music from Soda Blonde, a new band formed by four of the five members of Little Green Cars." That sounds like the time I got ditched and everyone else said they were going home but then ended up in Coppers and never stopped going on about it. That's when I retired from public life and decided to stay in on Friday Nights

Anyway, my work is done and my Pizza is ready.

Edit: Sad to hear Internet famous Kitteh Grumpy Cat has passed away today

    That's nuts.

The adoption policy in America appears to be 'Finders Keepers'

    You wouldn't get that here.

It is actually class to hear the Dublin accent on the new generation of black kids coming through.
Not sure if that is racist.

But hopefully will be easier for these kids on u17 team versus what it was like for Paul McGrath - the so called only black in Dublin.

I was going to say, in response to your Wuthering Heights comment on the last story, that it reminded me of that Tim whatsisname, you know Tim "The Toolman" Taylor, that film where he finds his kid.

Only then I remembered that film is called Jungle to Jungle or something, and I thought I would certainly be on dodgy ground immediately.

    I am confused?

Why is she on? Does she have a mate in RTE and trying to publicise herself using the prop of her son as an excuse to be here?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,001 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

    fair play to her

but why is she on ?

Darren is as cool as f**k

Sharp dresser, always looks serene on the pitch

He's here because his Mammy dragged him along so she could sing, but apart from that, he's the man.
