I have never used one of them eye yokes to sleep. I imagine they are just a distraction. I can understand the massive sunglasses as you can say they are for fashion. But why do these celebrities and wanna bes have to wear an eye yoke instead of just closing their eyes on their own??

You can see that Joanna is setting up a confrontation with Michael. She is looking for an out. If she was into him she wouldn't be letting Ambaa get into her head like that. Albeit she would recognise the game which Ambaa is playing.

She is smart enough, she sees what is coming and is getting her ducks in a row.

I think he is being played/gaslighted by the producers. I don't think it is going to work out for him. I am seeing a pattern developing of characters getting built up and then annihilated on some moral angle.
