Car insurance for non-resident Irish citizen

    Hi,

    Would appreciate good info on this.

    Sister is in states and has US. and International drivers license. Renting cars is prohibitively expensive esp when she’s here for a few weeks. Myself and the brother both have cars. and my mum hasan idle car in the driveway. She can’t drive anymore but maybe we could get her as lead insurer. Although it’s expensive getting this and cancelling.

    Can I get insured on-a second car or can she get insured even tho not resident in Ireland.

    Or if neither of those run. Can anyone give me a creative solution to this.

    Or maybe point me in the way of a good broker who’ll help.
