Zero Hours Contract

Hi,

Just trying to get some staff contracts tidied up for some that never had any and looking at it, I suppose I have a couple of staff on zero hours contracts?

I've a couple of people who would work casually for me, possibly 2 days this week, a full week next week and then not again for another two weeks. Would these be zero hour contracts? It's a mutual decison that we work this way as they choose to drop in when suits them to do a bit of maintenence between other jobs.

I'm a bit stuck on it,

Legislation was passed, but it's ineffective and doesn't effectively ban zero hour contracts

They're allowed so long as the work is genuinely casual.
