They will only run the A380 on routes where they are guaranteed to fill every seat e.g. LHR

They recently announced that they are keeping their A380s until the mid 2030s so they still have a lot of time left.

I've never flown the A350 but if it's as similar to the 777 and 787 as I've heard, definitely go for the A380. Totally different experience than anything else you're likely to fly on. Flew Heathrow to Singapore on it last year and then a 777 on to Melbourne and there's no comparison.
